My Weekend In Charlotte

Caution: This post contains an immense amount of adorable baby photos. Brace yourself.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend with lots of bbq and good ole Memorial Day sales! I also hope everyone takes out a few moments, to remember and honor those who have fought tirelessly and with such bravery to defend our country

This holiday weekend I was blessed to be able to had up to Charlotte to see my best friends baby, Cecelia. She made her grand entrance into the world a month ago and I having been itching to meet my precious niece! Needless to say, this past weekend was wonderful... I am completely in love with this little bundle of joy!

I got in around 9pm on Friday evening. Justin (Hayley's husband) had cooked some fish on the grill for dinner. Now, I'm not a person who like fish... I mean I pretty much only eat shrimp... However, I decided to give his a try. Oh. My. Gosh. It was delicious! I asked him for the recipe so I can share it with you guys!

On Saturday we had a pretty lazy afternoon full of precious baby snuggles!

Excuse my rough looking self.. but this picture was too cute not to post. #BabyAndAnimalWhisper

After Justin got home we cooked some tacos and decided to watch Hercules.

Sunday morning, Sweet Cillie I and enjoyed some bonding time over African tea on the back porch while Haley got a little more sleep. Don't worry, I told her she had to wait a few years for the African tea...

After Haley woke up we made a delicious breakfast.

Haley had asked me Saturday if I would be willing to take their newborn family photos, of course I said yes! So after Breakfast I watched Cillie while Justin and Haley got ready for pictures.

She was listening to every word I had to say

After pictures we spent what little time we had left of my visit enjoying each others company.

I hated saying goodbye... It's hard telling people you dearly love "see you later" and knowing it could be months before you see them again. Hopefully, we can make it a priority to see each other at least once a month. Fingers crossed!

I hope everyone has a Blessed week and I'll be back Friday with a Pupdate!
